This monthly newsletter is designed to help keep the residents of Hull informed with the information you will need to become or remain an active and engaged community member.*


In addition to this newsletter, the town provides sources of information including the town web site and Facebook page.

The Select Board holds monthly office hours from 6:30-7:00PM

in the Select Board Room

Next Date June 10,

Two Select Board members will be available at town hall, monthly to meet with residents to discuss issues of concern. Please be advised these are listening sessions, individual Board members cannot make decisions on behalf of the Select Board.

And thank you to those who stepped forward to run for office in their desire to serve our town.

A total of 2,146 votes cast, equal to 23% of 9,234 registered voters

Sunday, June 7th, annual beach clean up!! Please feel free to bring trash bags and there will be additional bags at the canopy set up on B Street. You can leave your filled bags at the entrances of the beach and they will taken away. If any students come they can get volunteer hours! Hope to see you there!!

WEDNESDAY, JUNE 3

• Last Islander Film Screening at the Senior Center, 1:30 p.m. Writer, director, editor, Joe Berkeley, has offered a special screening and discussion about the film as well as answering questions at the center. The documentary tells the story of Mike McDevitt – the last year-round resident of Peddocks Island –and his fight to preserve his family’s home. Enjoy a cup of New England Clam Chowder and refreshments. You must RSVP to 781-925-1239 to attend this showing


FRIDAY, JUNE 5

• Veterans’ Coffee Social. Enjoy the camaraderie with other vets. Come and hear about the services you earned and deserve. Complimentary coffee, donuts, and discussion centered around shared concerns. Hull Lifesaving Museum, 1117 Nantasket Ave., from 9-10:30 a.m. Meetings are free, and no reservations are required. Help report non-emergency issues to the Town of Hull, from your smartphone, tablet, or computer thanks to our partnership with SeeClickFix.

For Water Related Concerns

Issues related to or other water emergencies should be directed to the 24 hour customer service number for the Weir River Water System at (877) 253-6665.

For Sewer Related Concerns

For issues related to sewer or those requiring immediate attention please contact the Sewer Department during business hours at (781) 925-1207 or after hours (781) 925-0906.
