Hull is a town in Plymouth County, Massachusetts. It has 2.87 square miles of land and had 10,072 residents in the 2020 Census.
How do you get to Hull from Boston?
By MBTA ferry from Long Wharf to Pemberton Point in Hull: 25 to 30 minutes on most direct boats, $9.75 one way. The ferry runs on weekdays all year and on weekends in summer (May 23 to October 11 in 2026). The commuter rail runs every day: the Greenbush Line from South Station to Nantasket Junction in Hingham takes about 40 minutes ($8.75 one way), and bus 714 runs from there into Hull. You can also take the Red Line to Quincy Center, then bus 220 to Hingham Depot and bus 714.
What is Hull known for?
Nantasket Beach Reservation, a state reservation with about a mile of the Atlantic shoreline; Paragon Park, the amusement park beside it from 1905 to 1984, and its Paragon Carousel, built for the park in 1928 and still in Hull; the Hull Lifesaving Museum, in the Point Allerton Station on Nantasket Avenue; and Fort Revere Park on Telegraph Hill, an Army coastal fort from 1897 to 1947.
