Captain Kailie J. Benson, USCG (Ret.), originally from Halifax, Nova Scotia, is known throughout Hull and the South Shore for her caring, thoughtful leadership and the friendships she’s built here. As the former Commander of U.S. Coast Guard Sector Boston, she understands Hull’s coastline deeply. Kailie recommended that HullNext feature the Boston Harbor Islands, which align closely with Hull’s identity and daily life on the water, and encouraged adding local webcams for real‑time visibility into shoreline conditions. Her insight strengthens HullNext’s mission to deliver practical, trusted, community‑driven information for everyone who loves our coastline.

Jennifer Whelan is a Hull native and Village resident—a natural‑light portrait photographer capturing families, seniors, headshots, small events, and local scenes. She helped lead the Front Steps Project, raising over $14,000 for Wellspring, and her work has appeared in regional publications. Jennifer is generously contributing her amazing work to HullNext across the platform. She’s partnering with HullNext to showcase Hull’s people, places, and everyday beauty.

Steven M. Greenberg brings decades of community leadership and now pours that energy into Hull. He lives at the family cottage on Nantasket Beach and is passionate about Hull’s history, its people, and preserving the town’s unique character.
