Catch Sail Boston 2026's Parade of Sail with a special viewing from Spectacle Island, with open lawns, sea breezes, and one of the best views in the harbor. Tall Ships return to Boston Harbor for Sail Boston 2026 hosted by Meet Boston! On Saturday, July 11, catch Sail Boston 2026’s Parade of Sail from Spectacle Island, with open lawns, sea breezes, and one of the best views in the harbor. In partnership with the Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation (DCR), MBTA, National Parks of Boston, Boston Harbor Now, and Boston Harbor City Cruises, special ferry service will run from Hingham to Spectacle Island for the day to provide park access and public viewing of this historic harbor event.

Meet Boston Parade of Sail
The Meet Boston Parade of Sail will highlight the day’s activities as vessels parade in flotillas from Broad Sound into the main harbor channel, turning around near Charlestown and heading to their assigned berthing locations. Public viewing of the parade will be spectacular from Castle Island, the Seaport District, the Downtown Boston Waterfront, East Boston, the North End, and Charlestown.

U.S. Coast Guard Search & Rescue Demonstration
A Coast Guard helicopter will perform a dynamic search and rescue demonstration, showcasing its precision hovering capabilities and deployment procedures. During the demo, the aircrew will lower a rescue swimmer into the water to simulate responding to a person in distress. The swimmer will conduct standard rescue techniques before being hoisted back into the aircraft, highlighting the teamwork and readiness of Coast Guard search and rescue operations.

Summer Adventure Program – Summer 2026
Summer Adventure Program – Summer 2026 July 7 – August 20, 2026 Tuesday – Thursday 9:00 am – 12:30 pm (Morning Program) – $120 Members, $130 Non-Members 9:00 am – 2:30 pm (Extended Day) – $180 Members, $195 Non-Members This program is supported in part by a grant from South Shore Playhouse Associates. The Summer Adventure Program offers seven weeks of discovery and exploration with a different theme each week for children ages 5-11. Each week includes hands-on activities, outdoor exploration, and a fun mix of history, science, and arts. NOTE: Due to the success of last year’s program, we are once again offering an optional extended 2 hours to give parents a little longer break and to let the children have some less structured play time. Summer Explorers Program – Summer 2026 July 7 – August 20, 2026 9:00 am – 12:30 pm (Morning Program) – $120 Members, $130 Non-Members This program is supported in part by a grant from the Hull Cultural Council, a local agency which is supported by the Mass Cultural Council, a state agency. This 7-week program offers a different area of focus each week, with all programming originating at our HLM Windmill Point Boathouse, including our fleet of open-water rowing vessels, the boathouse, the harbor, and the harbor islands. Areas of focus include: safety on the water, rowing and commanding (coxing) open water rowing craft, operating outboard powered boats, harbor piloting and navigation, marine environment, boat maintenance and boat building, while making connections to each other, to our past and to our future. Hull Pride Open Meeting
Every year Hull Pride takes an informal break after our June celebration and then regroups in September.During our first meeting back, we hold an “open meeting” where anyone in the community can join us, learn a bit about our plans and mission and then see if they want to join us in a more meaningful way.Each year, we get a few new people who join our board, which meets on a monthly basis via hybrid in-person and Zoom.
