New Committee Alert- Public Safety Building Committee- Volunteers Wanted
Calling Volunteers! New Committee Alert: Public Safety Building Committee
The Town of Hull through its consultant, KBA Architects, is currently conducting a Public Safety Feasibility Study to explore the planning for a joint (police and fire) Public Safety Facility. The Select Board seeks to constitute a Public Safety Building Committee to collaborate with the Town throughout the feasibility study process as well as the subsequent design and construction phases. The charge of the committee is to support the evaluation of suitable location(s) for a combined public safety facility as identified in the Hull Public Safety Feasibility Study for recommendation to the Town; work with the Town Manager and town officials to obtain an Owner’s Project Manager and Architectural services; and to assist with supporting the design, construction and commission of a facility suitable for the current and future public safety needs of the Town of Hull. The committee will also work with town officials to carry-out community engagement efforts associated with the project.
The nine member Committee will be comprised of: (1) Hull Police Department, (1) Hull Fire Department, (1) Town Manager, (1) Select Board, (1) Advisory Committee, and (4) Residents-at-Large. Residents with a background and proven experience in finance, real estate, development, and project management are encouraged to apply via the Town of Hull website under volunteer opportunities. Letters of interest must be received by Monday, March 2, 2026 to be considered

FRIDAY, MARCH 6.- Veterans’ Coffee Social. Enjoy the camaraderie with other vets. Come and hear about the services you earned and deserve. Complimentary coffee, donuts, and discussion centered around shared concerns. Hull Lifesaving Museum, 1117 Nantasket Ave., from 9-10:30 a.m. The museum will be closed to the public. SATURDAY, MARCH 7 - Snow Row 250 – Pulling Together Since 1776 (Weather Date: March 8, 2026), race starts at noon, Windmill Point Boathouse, 185 Main St., Hull, Fee: $45 per racer. This year’s race, officially titled Snow Row 250 - Pulling Together Since 1776, is the kick-off event of Hull’s commemoration of 250 years of American independence and coastal service. Snow Row 250 will introduce special honors including the Spirit of ‘76 Award, the Revolutionary Crew Award, and the Hull Heritage Award, recognizing teams that best capture the energy, creativity, and community pride of the milestone year. Snow Row Spectator Boat (Weather Date: March 8, 2026) Departs Pemberton Pier, Hull. Boarding: 10:30 - 11:45 a.m. Race Begins at noon. Tickets $30 per person. Spectators can follow the action from shore or aboard the popular Snow Row Spectator Boat. Everyone should be onboard by 11:45 a.m., 15 minutes before the start of the race. Call 781-925-5433 to reserve your tickets. Tickets will also be sale at Pemberton Pier on race day.

For issues related to sewer or those requiring immediate attention please contact the Sewer Department during business hours at (781) 925-1207 or after hours (781) 925-0906.
